• How can I open a BO account?

• What documents are required to open a BO account?
• The following documents are needed to open a BO account:
  
  • Passport-size photos (Account Holder & Nominee)
  • NID copy (front & back) for both Account Holder & Nominee
  • Signature (Account Holder & Nominee)
  • Bank cheque leaf or Bank Statement (as shown in NID)
  • TIN Certificate (Optional)

• What is the BO account opening charge?
• The BO account opening charge is BDT 450. However, this fee is waived during the campaign period.

• How long does it take to open a BO account?
• The account opening process takes around 15-20 minutes. However, document verification by CDBL may take up to 24 hours. Once verified, you will receive a confirmation SMS from CDBL. & confirmation mail from Shanta Securities Ltd.

• Is there any hidden cost?
• No, there are no hidden charges or fees.

• Can I open a BO account if I already have one with another brokerage house?
• Yes, you can open another BO account with us. You are allowed to open one single and one joint BO account with any brokerage house.

• Is it possible to transfer shares from other organizations?
• Yes, you can link your existing BO account with Shanta Securities Ltd. to transfer shares.

•  What is the commission rate?
• The commission rate is 0.40 paisa/bps

•  What is the annual maintenance fee?
• The annual maintenance fee for a BO account is BDT 450.

•  Is there a minimum investment amount?
• No, there is no minimum investment requirement. You can invest any amount.
